The Problem
The bank operated on a legacy core banking system from 2004 incompatible with modern payment networks and OJK regulatory reporting. Manual reconciliation consumed 15+ hours weekly.
What We Built
We built a middleware integration layer using RESTful APIs and ISO 8583 translation to bridge the legacy core to BI-FAST, GPN, and SNAP. A real-time OJK reporting module and mobile banking frontend were delivered without replacing the core system.
The Outcomes
The bank launched mobile banking within 6 months, onboarding 12,000 new digital customers in Q1. Reconciliation dropped from 15 hours to 45 minutes. OJK reporting became fully automated with zero errors.
