The client had zero real-time visibility into equipment health, air quality, or worker location across 4 underground mines. Unplanned equipment failures caused 3-4 days of downtime per month, costing millions in lost production.

02 / Solution

What We Built

We designed and deployed a ruggedized LoRaWAN mesh network across 12km of tunnels. 340 wireless sensors monitor air quality (CO, CH4, O2), vibration on critical machinery, and worker locations via RFID. Edge computing aggregates data before forwarding to a Grafana dashboard with automated WhatsApp alerts.

03 / Results

The Outcomes

Within 6 months, unplanned downtime dropped 41%. The early-warning vibration system flagged 3 imminent conveyor belt failures before they occurred, preventing Rp 4.2 billion in costs. Air quality alerts reduced worker health incidents by 67%.
